These terms cover Notchverse, the macOS app, and notchverse.com. Buying or using either means you accept them. Notchverse is made and sold by Prakhar Mehta, based in India ("we", "us").
A licence to use Notchverse. You don't own the software itself. The licence is personal and non-transferable, and covers every Mac you personally use, at work or at home.
It doesn't cover installing it across a company, a team or a school from one purchase. If you want that, email us and we'll sort something out rather than pretend the problem doesn't exist.
A lifetime licence is a one-time payment covering every future version of Notchverse, for as long as the app exists. It will never charge you again and it will not expire.
It is the lifetime of the product, not of you or of any particular Mac. If Notchverse is ever discontinued, the version you have keeps working; it just stops receiving new ones. We will not switch existing lifetime licences to a subscription.
| Where | Plan | Price |
|---|---|---|
| India | Lifetime | ₹399 once |
| India | Monthly | ₹59 per month, cancel any time |
| Everywhere else | Lifetime | $7 once |
Prices may change for new customers. A price you have already paid never changes.
Full refund within 14 days, no reason needed. The details are in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Notchverse is provided as is. We work hard on it and we fix what we break, but we can't promise it will be free of bugs, or that it will keep working unchanged after a future macOS release that we haven't seen yet.
To the extent the law allows, we exclude the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
If something goes wrong, our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us. We are not liable for lost work, lost data, lost profit, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Said plainly: Notchverse holds copies of files you put on the shelf and things you copy, and it is not a backup system. Keep your own backups. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
What the app stores and the few things it sends are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Some features rely on services we don't run: LRCLIB for lyrics, Open-Meteo for weather, Spotify and Apple Music for playback information. If one of them changes or shuts down, that feature may stop working. That isn't grounds for a refund outside the 14 day window, though see the Refund Policy, we'd rather hear from you.
You can stop using Notchverse whenever you like; delete the app and the folder named in the Privacy Policy. We may end a licence only where it is being used in breach of these terms, and we'll refund the unused part if it was recent.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer elsewhere, this doesn't take away rights your own country gives you.
